CAROLINAS ERA's annual Rep-Distributor Forum will be held in early March in Raleigh. The chapter's annual DTAM report for the territory will be released at that event. John King of Battleship Technologies and Kimberly Hermoso-Hurst are again heading up that project. The Carolinas Board is also launching the 2010 application process for its annual scholarships and is discussing the prospect of offering associate membership to local distributors.
CHICAGOLAND Chapter is working with Mike Budde of Budde Marketing Systems to develop the first-ever DTAM report for both the northern Illinois and southeastern Wisconsin territories. The report will be presented at a forum scheduled in the early spring. In February, Chicagoland held a rep-to-rep breakfast round table discussion on gaining access to and qualifying new customers. The chapter is also planning to invite local distributors to become associate members.
EMPIRE STATE members and local distributors came together for a Lunch and Learn event tied to ERA's January Webinar, "Selling Has Nothing to Do with Selling."
FLORIDA-SUNSHINE reps and territory distributors are looking forward to the chapter's annual Rep-Distributor Forum this spring. The Florida DTAM report, which is being prepared by Barry Farber of HHP Associates, will be presented at that event.
NORTHERN CALIFONIA ERA held its annual Past Presidents Night in November, and Chapter President Mark Holcomb reports there was also a "tremendous turnout" for the 49th Annual Electronic Industry Christmas Party. Over the last five decades, that event has raised more than $100,000 for two area children's hospitals. Northern California's first program event of 2010 was held in early February, with Bryan Shirley, CPMR, president of MANA, as the guest speaker.
