Electronic Component Sales

Brainard Nielsen Marketing, Inc. www.bnmsales.com a manufacturer's representative with headquarters in Illinois has been selling electronic components in Wisconsin for over 30 years. We are now expanding our sales force and seek an experienced outside salesperson to design in and sell brand name electronic components to Wisconsin OEM manufacturers. The salesperson will work side by side with other BNM salespeople supporting Wisconsin distribution and OEM's.

The pay package includes a base, commissions, performance bonuses, health/life/disability insurance, 401K package and business expense reimbursement. Income growth is unlimited and based on individual and company sales performance. This is a career position.

Candidate of interest Must possess the following attributes:

 
  • Live in greater Milwaukee or Madison area
  • Self Starter, Entrepreneurial Attitude
  • Proven "hunter" sales ability
   
These attributes will be a plus:
   
 
  • Formal Electronics Technical Education
  • Experience working with CRM program(s) and social media
  • Experience with BNM lines
  • Experience with area OEM's and Distribution

You have proven ability to grow sales and develop accounts over a sales cycle from six to eighteen months with some limited travel requirements. You have a history of displacing the competition based on your persistence, tenacity and unwavering commitment to grow your business by selling value over price. You excel at finding and closing new opportunities. You are proud to show your activities and behaviors in a timely manner and understand the importance of tracking opportunities and activities in a CRM system. Your communications skills are outstanding, and you are able to glide past gatekeepers – electronic and human - and engage your new opportunities with skill. Use of MS Office and CRM software helpful, an electrical engineering degree is a plus, as is electronic component sales experience. Future equity opportunity for top performers is available. Candidates can reside in N.E. Ohio. You must have prior earnings of at least $70,000.
